Many people think that as long as it is a plastic product, it can be processed and repaired by an ultrasonic plastic welding machine. In fact, this is wrong, because the energy generated by the ultrasonic plastic welding machine in an instant is very large. If the welded product cannot bear the energy, it will cause great damage to the product.
Our common ultrasonic welding is mainly used on plastics such as ABA plastics, ABS plastics, AES plastics, AMMA plastics, ARP plastics, AS plastics, PS plastics, PP plastics, PC plastics, PE, PVC and so on. The principle of ultrasonic plastic welding machine is to transmit high-frequency vibration waves to the surfaces of two objects to be welded, and make the surfaces of the two objects rub against each other under pressure to form a fusion between the molecular layers. In theory, any plastic material can be welded, because each material has its own natural frequency, the thermal stability of plastic products such as PVC resin is not very good, and it is easy to deteriorate ( usually yellow and decompose toxic gas ) due to slightly higher temperature, resulting in poor interface and sealing, and toxic gas is harmful to people and the environment.
Therefore, the ultrasonic plastic welding machine is not universal for the welding of plastic. When considering whether the ultrasonic plastic welding machine can be used, we should consider whether the plastic material products conform to the application scope of the ultrasonic plastic welding machine. If we plan well in advance, we will get twice the result with half the effort.
